will be held September 15, 2018 at the Jacksonville Beach Pier.

Eidon Presents The 20th Annual Sisters of the Sea Surf Classic, September 15, 2018 Recap/Results

What an INCREDIBLE day of women's surfing we had!  SOS would like to thank all who came out to surf and show their support for women in the water.

Where do I begin? Well, first and foremost our 20thAnnual Sisters of the Sea Surf Classic presented by Eidon, was an absolute SUCCESS! The weather was perfect, the waves were glassy & fun with some chest high sets. The gals surfing were strong, fluid and beautiful to watch, they definitely drew a large crowd easily over 500 if not close to a 1,000 throughout the day. It was a day to truly empower women of all ages and abilities, have fun, promote our sponsors and raise money for our Bosom Buddies charity…. Yes, it was an absolute SUCCESS, we will be able to donate $4,500 from the proceeds, woot woot!

The coolest thing about our now 20 year old Surf Classic is the sense of community it brings out in all involved.  It is a lot of good people giving of their time for a sport they love and for a cause that is bigger than all of us. Thank you for being a part and if you were not able to make it this year then mark your calendar for September 14, 2019 for our 21st year!  We have no plans of stopping anytime soon, stay tuned for our Sisters & Survivors event in June of 2019 where we teach cancer survivors how to surf, it is such a fun day.  We will also have a few beach clean ups and surf sessions with all the SOS members , some good times to look forward to. See you in the water!
