Marloru Presents The 25th Annual Sisters of the Sea Women’s Surf Classic PRO/AM will be held September 9, 2023 at the Jacksonville Beach Pier.

Here’s the rundown on this years divisions, All contestants will receive a Natural Life bag with goodies (Pure Vida bracelet, Half Moon Bay Trading hot sauce, Woman’s Surf Style Magazine, surf wax, swag, swag and more swag…and a sweet contest t-shirt designed by Jill Stewart (artwork) & Christina King. Wow! Just for entering! 

White Water Riders– This is for beginners (all ages) that want to learn how to surf a contest without the pressure of having to advance.  You will surf a normal heat, be judged on your waves (for your own learning curve) but there is no advancement. You will receive a participation medal, contestant bag and contest shirt. 

Kokua’s 11 & Under– This is for anyone needing assistance in the water, you may be pushed into waves and be assisted.  This is a competitive heat,  you will be judged and only top 6 in final will receive a trophy. 

Keiki’s 11 & Under– Non- assisted, on your own, welcome to the world, try your best, competitive, top 6 in final will receive trophies and swag bag.

Marloru Leilani’s 14 & Under– Note the age change to 14, short board competitive, top 6 in final will receive trophies and swag bag.

Wahine’s 18 & Under –  Note the age change, both long and short board competitive, top 6 in final will receive trophies and swag bag.

Diva’s Open– Note the age change, all ages “open”, both long and short board competitive, top 6 in final will receive trophies and swag bag.

Sage 40+  -Note the age change, both long and short board  competitive, top 6 in final will receive trophies and swag bag.

Shortboard Women’s Pro – Any age and for anyone who wants to go for some prize money. 1st-$1,500; 2nd- $750; 3rd- $500; 4th-$250
